Once you have constructed the room layout, positioned the cabinets and appliances, you are minutes away from generating commercial reports and providing your production team with detailed cut lists, assembly details, panel optimisation reports etc. Selecting and placing cabinets is simple and fast, a true drag and drop environment. Reporting is precise and available within minutes; eliminating errors, and removing hours of unproductive report development.

With CabMaster Designer Pro you have complete control over door styles, material colours and finishes, walls colours etc. Import pictures and textures, and access a comprehensive range of 3D models containing appliances and other objects to enhance your drawing. CabMaster Designer Pro also enables you to add lighting, shading and reflections.

Manage and Customise your Cabinet Range

CabMaster Designer Pro is supplied with the CabMaster Cabinet range; a comprehensive and fully supported cabinet library. CabMaster Designer Pro includes the library Catalog Manager, which makes it possible for a business to easily customise the cabinet range so that only the cabinets you need are active in the cabinet drop menu. This saves considerable time for the designers and eliminates incorrect cabinet styles being used.

Creating variations within CabMaster Designer Pro is easy. Add new sizes, set-up different door or shelving configurations, establish new part numbers to match those currently used by your business it is all possible within CabMaster Designer Pro.

Construction Methods

Within the essentials library a business can set-up the library to support a vast range of construction methods. The capability is further enhanced with the use of templates. A template can be associated with a manufacturing method, therefore enabling your cabinet library to contain any number of construction methods without ever having to make custom changes at design time.

Pricing

CabMaster Designer Pro incorporates various pricing alternative that makes it possible for a business to eliminate pricing errors typically associated with manual systems. Each cabinet automatically calculates carcass, hardware, and labour costs. Door prices and material costs are automatically calculated based on your price files and suppliers. Non design costs are also handled by CabMaster Designer Pro within the List View.

List View

When the design is complete, the contents of the design are automatically updated within the List View. Cabinet attributes, prices, part numbers, material, and appliances are all displayed to provide the designer with a quick reference. Cabinets that are not included on the design screen can be added with the click of a button. And, your project total costs are also displayed for quick and easy reference great for monitoring the total cost versus the customers' budget.

Non design items can be imported into the List View to accommodate for additional costs such as freight, installation, removal charges, costs associated to contractors etc. Many businesses have multiple templates to cater for different cabinet ranges or service types.

Production and Commercial Reporting

CabMaster Designer Pro can generate practical reports to meet the needs of the most demanding manufacturer. You also have the capability to customise various elements of the reports, without any programming skills. Via easy to follow dialog boxes you can customise the introduction, sign-off, company details etc.

Once a project has been designed, CabMaster Designer Pro enables the panel information to be displayed within Panel Estimator. Here, panels are sorted based on the material sheet and optimised. The material cutting patterns can be printed and provided to the panel saw operator; eliminating significant time that is typically spent developing manual reports.

Cabinet Library

The distributed CabMaster library is developed and supported by QST Systems. It is a library of cabinets that changes constantly and in most cases the cabinets are developed based on customer feedback.

Without a production library, customers are faced with an extensive learning curve as they seek to develop skills that will take months to refine. Delays through this learning curve limit the return on the investment as the application is limited to the content and quality of the library. Typically only large businesses with dedicated resources embark on a custom library build. Sometimes, however, specialist business uses our consulting team to develop their exclusive library.
